The Housekeeper’s responsibilities are but not limited to:

Responsibilities:

• Respond promptly to requests from supervisor and other departments.
• Fill cart with supplies and transport cart to assigned area.
• Enter areas following procedures for gaining access and ensuring vacancy before entering.
• Replace dirty linens as needed, make beds, lean bathrooms, remove trash, dirty linen.
• Check that all appliances are present in the room and in working order.
• Dust, polish, and remove marks from walls and furnishings, vacuum carpets and perform floor care duties.
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisor.

Experience and Skills:

• English communication skills, previous experience a plus.
• No formal education is required, hotel and hospital desirable with at least a high school education.
• Able to communicate politely and professionally; physically fit as the job involves a lot of manual labor work, agile and efficient, ability to follow instructions.
• Attention to detail, capable of working for long hours consistently as necessary including weekends.
• Ensure uniform and personal appearance is clean and professional.
