The responsibilities of the Cook include, but are not limited to: 

Responsibilities:

• Review menus prior to food preparation.
• Ensure all dietary procedures are followed in accordance with established policies.
• Assist in setting up the food service production line to ensure meals are prepared on time.
• Prepare meals according to planned menus.
• Prepare and serve meals that are both palatable and visually appealing.
• Cook and prepare meals as necessary.
• Prepare food following standardized recipes and special diet orders.
• Demonstrate knowledge of kosher dietary laws.
• Perform other duties as required.

Experience and Skills:

• At least one year of experience.
• Excellent communication skills and customer service-oriented.
• Food Handling Certification required; Spanish language skills are a plus.
• Proficient in reading, writing, and communicating in English.
